Just returned from 9 night stay at La Caseta. We had booked 2 rooms, as there were 3 of us. I had asked for adjoining rooms on high floors at time of booking.

We arrived c 4 pm. Reception was manned at this point. But the hotel does not have 24 hour reception. There is a sign on the gate advising to call a number and someone will arrive to check you in. But we were there 10 days and not aware of anyone having any problems getting rooms organised . We were given adjoining rooms on floor 7 so all good.

Rooms are well equipped if perhaps a little small. Lots of crockery and cutlery. There is a microwave, washing machine, and iron in rooms. Air conditioning in both lounge and bedroom. Large wardrobe in bedroom. There is however a shortage of drawers in the rooms. The unit found in most rooms in the lounge is used to store plates, cups, glasses, cutlery etc. A bit strange. The only other thing I would mention is that one of our rooms had no warning stickers on balcony doors. We walked into it more than once which is not great, but the other room was fine. At least we survived to tell the tale.

Towel and linen change once a week. Additional towel changes can be requested from maid for c2 euros. No other cleaning throughout week. But the maids are great. If you need anything they will help if they can. Rubbish can be put in bins at back of block, again not a problem.

Great location, but up a hill so not suitable for everyone. 10 minute stroll to old town. 15 mins to new town. Although buildings all around there is a stunning view over the med sea out towards peacock island.

Pool is immaculately kept, as are gardens. Not the biggest pool but this is not a huge apartment block so is more than adequate. Plenty loungers and well maintened grass which can be used for loungers also. Pool is open 10 am to 7 pm. Loungers locked up outwith these times. A bit strange in summer as sun out from early to late, but probably more to do with no 24 hour staff on site.

Mercadona next door is a huge Spanish supermarket. Great prices, but sometimes a bit noisy at delivery times. Not a huge issue though.

All in all we had a great time. I would have no hesitation in recommending these apartments. I would certainly go back.

Room tip: Ask for a high floor.

We are here now, the apartment is lovely and clean, the pool area is lovely and peaceful. The whole place is very secure, the restaurant down stairs does a really nice breakfast, supermarket is next door, and it's a short stroll to the old town. What more could you need!

What a lovely place, very secure, clean & tidy, everything you need for self catering including a washing machine.

Situated right by the old town but only a gentle 10 minute stroll into the new town & the main strip.

It has an un-manned reception so you need to ring a telephone number on the gate to tell them your there to check in but the lady only took a couple of mins to arrive.

150 Euro deposit but it never actually leaves your bank, just pends and then they cancel it when you check out.

Towels are changed only once a week but with a washing machine in the room that's not a problem.

Pool area is a great sun trap all day.

Spanish Supermarket next door which was very cheap for everything.

I would certainly go back again.
