This aquarium is set in a large complex and offers to the visitors the joys of experiencing different underwater species. It us quite spectacular and really enjoyed our visit. A unique gem.

I came with my family for an Easter break to Valencia. It is a beautiful city with lots to see and do with small children.

The Oceanografic is one of the best plans! It offers a wide selection of wild animals from all over the world, including the biggest aquarium in Europe! We loved it all but particularly the Artic area. You feel like being inside a massive igloo and enjoy seeing the belugas and penguins. We also loved the sharks, and the underwater pathway. It is really impressive!

Highly recommended for a family day.

The three stars are because of the price. It's so expensive compared to other aquariums.
It should only had two stars, but did love the walruses.

We went there to spend the whole day seeing the sea life: the sharks, the incredible fishes they have there, the dolphins and the belugas.
It was a fantastic day! From the very beginning it was very easy to get there, we used the public parking (6€/day with your tickets) and we were enjoying the sea park in less than 10' and there were a lot of people that day ...
If you want to go for a map you can do it in the "Information desk" but everything is very well signalled so you cannot get lost.
It's worth going to the 4D cinema to watch 20.000 leagues under the sea (if you are with your kids) ... We also watched Hurricane ... I don't think it would repeat, you can see any BBC documentary and it's almost the same.
I especially recommend visiting the sharks and the tunnel under the water where they have lots of sharks and manta rays ... It's awasome!!
I expected a bit more from the crocodiles ... It's the only thing I didn't like.
The dophin show is amazing but you need to be there well in advance, although the theater is quite big it gets full very quickly. The show with the dolphins is incredible, very nice and very educative for the kids ...
Last but not least, if you can afford going to Restaurante Submarino, please, don't miss it. Incredible experience although a little bit expensive but it's worth having lunch (or dinner) under the water with so many fishes ...

We got an evening ticket which allows us to enter at 6pm when it closes at 10pm on Good Friday. The 4D cinema is something you need to pay extra to see and needs to be booked in advance when you are inside. I was annoyed as we queued up and was told we couldn’t go in as we didn’t have the correct ticket. The aviary has closed when we got there at 9pm after seeing the dolphin show and wondered why since the whole complex doesn’t close until 10pm. So I thought we was a little hard done by.. otherwise it was good...
