I had the rissoto frutti di mare and was unbelievable. Delicious! The seafood was so amazing and so the rissotto. My husband had a pizza, but I didn't enjoyed it as much as the rissotto.
Our waiter was super nice and chatty, very good service. He even gave us a little picture with a prayer of the virgin of the local church. The restaurant is in the main street so did people watching too. Prices are just like in every Amalfi restaurant, but think it was worth it.

We Finished a very long hike and we’re really hungry and decided to try this restaurant. We ordered the caprice he salad and a pizza of the day along with the local wine which is from Rafello. Everything was beyond expectations. We highly recommend this restaurant and sit in the front where you can watch all the people on the street because that’s half the fun

We were walking around Amalfi looking for a place for lunch & saw a few tables in what looked like a small restaurant. When you go inside you walk through a narrow space & suddenly it opens up into a large lively restaurant. We were greeted by Enzo, the owner, who brought us to our table. The pizza was delicious & the service was great. The staff was pleasant & the service excellent. Enzo creates a warm friendly atmosphere throughout his place. He spent time talking with us about politics, traveling, food etc. He offered us some of marinated sardines that he prepared; delicious. This is a lively fun place & if you go, look for Enzo, a wonderful human being.

Folks - almost done with our Southern Italian Ristorante Reviews. There are just so many places to eat and try from Naples down to Sicily and we tried as many as we could given the 10 days. Da Maria in Amalfi was a place all of the locals recommended to try their wood oven pizza. When we arrived they were not open until 6pm so we walked around and waited for them to open. We were NOT disappointed. The crust was tasty the ingredients were fresh and the pizza was worth waiting for. One thing I didn't like was being charged for napkins - it is not the money I just think there is a cost of doing business and your prices should build that in. Having said that the pizza whilst not 50 Kalo was real good and a must when you to Amalfi.

My husband and I shared a caprese and sausage pizza. Best caprese and pizza we had in Italy! Tomatoes were sweet and mozzarella was creamy. We ate it with the balsamic vinegar and olive oil but was told by the chef we should enjoy its pure taste without them. He was right! They didn’t need the additional dressing. The pizza crust was thin and flavorful, really good sausage too! We wish there was more of the sausage! Be sure to add the chili flakes soaked in olive oil to the pizza. Superb!
