We stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it, more so probably because of Pia's help and recommendations for local cuisine and places to visit - so friendly and helpful.

Room was always clean and well turned out, breakfast always fresh and no problems with WiFi as mentioned in another review. The location is ideal for exploring the historic heart of Salerno, with ports, buses and trains all close by to explore Amalfi, Capri, Pompeii etc.

Couldn't recommend highly enough, thanks!

We stayed one night in December.

I agree with all the other reviewers. This place has got charm. It's very small and personal.

Service was nice and friendly, though the only stuff member we saw during breakfast and checkout didn't speak one word of English (but was very sweet anyway).
Breakfast was basic (continental), but really beautifully served.

If you don't really care about small details, you're going to love this boutique hotel, but if, like me, you do, you'd better keep reading.

Several annoying issues have made this stay quite imperfect:
- Entrance to the building is dark and dodgy (we had to step over some trash bags).
- No elevator. Keep in mind.
- Some serious plumbing problems: EVERYTHING that was going on in our bathroom was clearly heard in reception / breakfast area. Water in the shower had terrible temperature fluctuations, and there's no proper sealing- which makes the whole place really wet after you take a shower.
- WiFi really really weak. Works only in one side of the room (and then has only one bar signal).
- Only one free socket for charging your devices (each of us had a phone and an iPad..)
- Minibar fridge was making loud knacks every minute or so. We had to unplug it (it helped with the previous point..)

On the bright side- it's quite easy to find free parking on the street outside the hotel.

Stylishly decorated with a lovely view of Salerno's port, Molo 44 is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a home away from home at this charming town.

A 20-minutes walk from the train station, seaside promenade and merchant street, Molo offers large and sleek rooms befitting of their 'boutique' tag line. Great value!

This is amazing place! I've seen very good comments but did not expect that it would be so wonderful! First of all - the most important aspect - personal! People working at Molo 44 are the best! They are friendly, attentive, polite and make you feel a queen. It seems that they were waiting only for you and when you have come to their BB they became really happy! Incredible, I've never met such service! Dear Pia, thank U so much one more time for the dinner and all your endless help! Second - the hotel itself is very stylish, comfortable, has beautiful terrace with the growing trees and view to the seaport where stunning breakfasts are served. It's just wonderful and I was really upset to stay at Molo 44 only for two nights but I definitely have to come back there. And highly recommend to all who plans to visit Costiera Amalfitana to stay there - very easy to get Amalfy, Positano and Capri but be shure that in these cities you wil not find a hotel of such a quality for this price. So, stay at Molo 44, and travel from Salerno with jets by the sea, admiring views of picturesque towns from the water!

A lovely b&b, everything here works so well together. Beautiful and quirky decor, delicious breakfast with fresh coffee and juices, very, very clean but most importantly run by Beniamino with the help of Laura in such a way that I have never felt more relaxed and at home. They are both so friendly, genuinely warm and helpful that leaving after a week was a real wrench! I'm always on the lookout for new italian experiences, but this will be so hard to beat I really think we'll be back next year!
