Rooms are beautiful with very comfy beds, view of the harbour from our terrace was gorgeous. Hotel easy to find and Parking on the street outside. Staff very friendly. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely although not the best selection of breakfast compared to other hotels but this aside I would definitely return to this hotel in Salerno!

We stayed one night at the Molo 44 and it was nice. The accommodations are very basic, but clean. We stayed in a studio suite, which fit 4 of us. The pullout bed was extremely uncomfortable, but that is to be expected with that type of bed. I would recommend staying there if you want a slightly different feel from the small hotel rooms throughout Europe.

Molo 44 is a very charming B & B. Very private but as hospitable as staying with good friends. Pia, Sylvana and Beniomino were very helpful and gracious. The room and bath were very comfortable and the terrace with harbor view was a great bonus. Breakfast was very good. We intend to return here again.

Room Tip: A bit of walking is required and stair. only for the fit.

We stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it, more so probably because of Pia's help and recommendations for local cuisine and places to visit - so friendly and helpful.

Room was always clean and well turned out, breakfast always fresh and no problems with WiFi as mentioned in another review. The location is ideal for exploring the historic heart of Salerno, with ports, buses and trains all close by to explore Amalfi, Capri, Pompeii etc.

Couldn't recommend highly enough, thanks!

We stayed one night in December.

I agree with all the other reviewers. This place has got charm. It's very small and personal.

Service was nice and friendly, though the only stuff member we saw during breakfast and checkout didn't speak one word of English (but was very sweet anyway).
Breakfast was basic (continental), but really beautifully served.

If you don't really care about small details, you're going to love this boutique hotel, but if, like me, you do, you'd better keep reading.

Several annoying issues have made this stay quite imperfect:
- Entrance to the building is dark and dodgy (we had to step over some trash bags).
- No elevator. Keep in mind.
- Some serious plumbing problems: EVERYTHING that was going on in our bathroom was clearly heard in reception / breakfast area. Water in the shower had terrible temperature fluctuations, and there's no proper sealing- which makes the whole place really wet after you take a shower.
- WiFi really really weak. Works only in one side of the room (and then has only one bar signal).
- Only one free socket for charging your devices (each of us had a phone and an iPad..)
- Minibar fridge was making loud knacks every minute or so. We had to unplug it (it helped with the previous point..)

On the bright side- it's quite easy to find free parking on the street outside the hotel.
