Booked 2 rooms here for a 4 night stay. Both rooms were spotlessly clean with large comfortable beds and crisp white linen. We would definitely stay here again. These tips will hopefully make your stay a little more enjoyable.

- Your taxi will not be able to drop you at the hotel's entrance. This is because the back of the hotel is on the main street called the Corso Italia which is largely pedestrianised. The hotel's entrance is on a street which runs parallel called the Via Santa Maria della Pieta. Once you know where it is it's simple to find. Make sure you tell the taxi firm where to pick you up on your return journey as it cannot be from the hotel. We chose the Piazza Tasso square which is a 2-minute walk from the hotel and it worked fine.

- The hotel is very narrow. It has a lift but it is tiny and can only fit about 2 people. The lift operates while the reception is open from 08:00 - 23:00. This was no problem for us but if you are planning n staying out late you need to factor that in.

- There is something like 50 steps from reception to the top floor. This again needs to be factored in if you don't like lifts or you enjoy using the stairs instead. If it's a problem request one of the lower floors.

- Entry to the hotel out-of-hours and your room is via a keypad. This made a pleasant change from having to carry around room keys.

- Wi-Fi in our room on the top floor called the Grey Room was weak. We reported this on leaving so it may be boosted if you choose to visit.

- The bathroom was again spotlessly clean with a very large walk-in shower, hairdryer, toiletries and fluffy white towels. Excellent. The deciding wall between the bathroom and bedroom was however not completely soundproof!

- The reception staff are fantastic. Really helpful and friendly. Their English is good.

- There is a small mini-bar style fridge in the room. This comes with a couple of bottles of water but the point is it's useful for cooling your purchases.

- The hotel is very close to the cathedral. On Sunday they ring the bells to call the faithful to mass. It's very loud and kind of charming but fortunately doesn't last long.

- Our rooms had air conditioning but there was no need for us to use it.

That's it. In summary, a really great little hotel that we will definitely use if we come to Sorrento again.

Amazing staff. Amazing location. Beautiful large clean room. We will stay here if we are fortunate to make it back to Sorrento. 10 minute walk from the train station and only minutes from everything else.

We stayed here 5 nights during our visit to the area. It was a great home base for our visit to The Amalfi Coast, Capri and Pompeii. The is a lovely small hotel, located in the heart of Sorrento and overlooking the Corso Italia. (Entrance is to the rear on a small parallel street). An easy 10 minute walk from the train station. Our room was bright, fresh and well furnished. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the Corso Italia and could watch the evening passeggiata. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They recommended several wonderful restaurants which we thoroughly enjoyed during our stay. Would definitely stay here again on our return to Sorrento.

Such a perfect spot. In the middle of Sorrento, close to all the food and shops- and if you get a room with a balcony- the best people watching ever! Clean, comfortable and spacious. Local market close by, plenty of restaurants with outdoor seating. Fridge in room let’s you buy a few items to keep on hand too

My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights form our honeymoon and we couldn’t have been more pleased! The staff was extremely friendly and we were especially impressed with the housekeeping staff. We emailed the staff prior to our arrival and asked for assurance in getting a private car to pick us up from the airport and they set it up no problem! It made our travels easy and took a lot of the stress away from our arrival. The location is perfect and we’ve already said that if we go back to Sorrento, we’d stay here again! It’s extremely convenient to shop around, eat, and go to the beaches without getting a taxi. It’s close to the main square which ended up being a a primary meeting location for many of the excursions we did. And although the location of the hotel is in the middle of the action, the noise was never and issue and we never had trouble sleeping. We loved it here and would return!
