Owner description: Certainly the most famous and photographed fountain in Rome, legend has it that whoever throws a coin into the pond will return to Rome.

The Trevi Fountain is definitely a must see when in Rome. However beware of the horrendous crowds. Lots of pushing and lack of personal space. They also warn you to beware of pick pockets- but we had no issues.

Visited this during the easter break. Well worth visit during the day - but amazing at night. Its close via public transport and not far away from the Spanish Steps.

Very very busy but worth a visit! Highly recommend a roof bar just a couple of steps away from Trevi Fountain that overlooks the fountain!

This sculpture is really worthy of its fame. Unlike the mona lisa or the sistine chapel whose reputation are so overblown that you can't help but feel a bit disappointed when you are in front of them, the trevi fountain not only lives up to its reputation it exceeds it. Since it is so massive, it is worth walking around to look at it form different angles. Only downside is it can be difficult to get a good view because it is very crowded, a good dose of patience is therefore required.

If you visit Rome you must go see this fountain and throw in a penny and make a wish. It’s a very special location. Always crowded with tourists, but photos are fine to take.
