My husband and I immensely enjoyed the nine days we stayed at Loggetta di Trastevere in March. We had the whole apartment to ourselves and felt completely comfortable and at home in its light, spacious, and well-designed rooms. Francesco is a wonderful host: he is extremely courteous, kind, and helpful, but also respects the privacy of his guests. Every morning he arrived punctually, at the time we had agreed upon, to make our breakfast: delicious coffee, fresh pastries, and eggs when requested. He keeps the apartment immaculately clean, stocking the kitchen with a generous supply of juice, tea, cereal, and yogurt. His English is excellent, and it was a pleasure to converse with him. He also gave us very good advice about transportation and restaurants. The well-appointed kitchen is available for the use of guests, so we often enjoyed the pleasure of shopping in the very good outdoor market and small specialty shops nearby and cooking for ourselves in the evenings.

The bedroom we stayed in was spacious and well-lit by a large window that opened outward onto a balcony overlooking the street below. The bed was very comfortable; the bathroom is newly remodeled and immaculate. Trastevere is a lively and beautiful neighborhood, offering many fascinating places to visit, including great art and architecture as well as excellent restaurants and exuberant street life. The B & B is on a peaceful street, away from the crowds, in a well-maintained old building with very thick walls that keep it well-insulated and quiet. It is easy to walk from Trastevere to just about any tourist destination in the city; public transportation into the center of the city and to the airport is also very convenient.

We loved staying here and look forward to returning soon. I give Francesco's B & B my highest recommendation.

Room Tip: All rooms are great.

My girlfriend and I spent a week in Rome in June 2015. We stayed at this B&B and we can't say enough about this structure and its owner Francesco. He's really involved in providing the best experience to his guests. He arrived every morning at a time of our choice to prepare a delicious breakfast. He also gave us great recommendations for dinners in the area.
The B&B is spacious, recently renovated and cleaned every day. The locations is excellent, easily assessable on foot to all of Rome's attractions but at the same time it's quite reserved.
The price is not the cheapest in Rome, but it's absolutely reasonable for what you get. We strongly recommend this B&B.

We stayed at this b&b for five nights stay in May, even though we changed several high-priced hotels during our four weeks trip in Italy, we definitely have spent here the best days of our trip. Me and my friend rented both rooms so we enjoyed the whole apartment ourselves. We received an excellent welcome by the young and charming owner Francesco. At the first glance we were really surprised he was the manager of the b&b, because of his age, but we changed our mind soon and actually we would not be amazed if he was running a bigger place. By agreed with him, we alterned sweet-breakfast (taste pastries) and salty-breakfast (eggs,ham,toast)...both absolutely yummy :)
Host, cleaning and location (few steps away from S.Maria di Trastevere) are amazing, that's why we personally reccomend this place to all those who are looking for the best b&b in Rome.

I can't say enough about Francesco and his B&B. We rented the entire apartment(3 rooms). It was spotless, spacious and in a great location. He came and made us breakfast every morning. His english was very good and he was willing to help in any way he could. If I were going to Rome this would be my first choice and I have been to Rome 5 times.

We loved our four nights at the loggetta. We rented the full lodging - two bedrooms and a shared bath (another bedroom is available too.) Francesco speaks excellent English and responds quickly to email inquiries from the United States. He greeted us promptly on arrival and showed us into a spacious lodging with high ceilings and comfortable furnishings. The location is excellent, easily assessable on foot or by public transportation to all of Rome's attractions. Francesco arrived every morning at a time of our choosing to prepare a delicious breakfast. He is absolutely charming and gave us great recommendations for dinners in the area. We can't wait to go back.
