The owner served all customers on his own and prepared the orders from scratch. When we arrived, the little restaurant was full. As other left, we were offered a couple of stools and a barrel table. He came over to us after we ordered our drinks and politely explained that he needed 5 minutes before he could serve us. Little things like this are much appreciated.
The place has a homely feel. It's just him and his wife who run the restaurant. He clearly takes a lot of pride in his food and service.
We asked him select us a couple of tapas dishes (ranging from €2.50 - €3.50). He responded with "Ah ok, I'll surprise you".
The food was simple but delicious. Along with 2 glasses of wine and his homemade tiramisu, the bill came to €15. Great value for money.
We ended up handing over a €20 note and leaving the change. He was overwhelmingly grateful which said a lot to us. Honest places like this deserve the highest praises.
We wish him and his wife all the success with their business.
TRY THE HOMEMADE TIRAMISU. IT'S DELICIOUS.
