booked this place because it came up as 100/100 for walkers and did not plan to drive and wanted to be near major sites. This place was one of few that had 'airport shuttle' service and cost on website said to book in advance and cost $14. I reserve the airport shuttle service due to late arrival time and price was not as stated. I spent $48 on a driver who couldn't wait for a 15 min flight delay, rude staff demanded payment and had to find my own way to hotel because driver left. WORST EXPERIENCE ever for my first time to Rome!

Room tip: don't book hurter

Nice, spacious single room, with a very big bed (for me), a clean restroom, clean lingeries. The room is very nice decorated, they have minibar, TV, seif and hair drier.

I don't know if they have WIFI.

You can easily reach all the main sites in Rome (Piazza Navona, Vatican, Castel Sant'Angelo, Supreme Court ). Near is the bus stop, from and to AirPort and also the Taxi Station.
I recomand them!

Basic room but as I wasn't intending on spending time in it it didn't matter! Clean, great shower, comfy bed, air conditioning & so close to everything (which is why I booked it, having been to Rome before). Booked as room only but several cafes & restaurants literally round the corner. Didn't see much of the staff as only there for weekend, but when I did they were very helpful.

I stayed at la maison for three nights. It was hard to get to the place since directions in Rome are different from what expected, be sure to check before. Nonetheless, the service was excelent. Staff is great, expect good instructions and treatment from Ovidio and the other employees. if you are lucky being from latin america you also can have a great conversation with Martha, she is the argentinian lady that runs the place.

Room was really good, good wifi connection and as other reviewers have said is also close to some locations. Rome's metro is not that good, however you can walk to several places including the Vatican City, Piazza del Popolo, and Piazza Navona.

Good value for money. The location is excellent. Piazza Cavour is a trendy neighbourhood with all the roman glitter and restaurants but away from the crowds of tourists. It is 10 minutes walk to the Vatican, Piazza Navona and really a bus ride (not more than 15 minutes) from the Coliseum. The rooms are small and basic but clean and tidy. It will help if there was some tea and coffee provisions in each room, but given that, when in Rome, one doesnt spend much time in one’s room, this accommodation should suffice.
Staff are helpful, particularly Ovidio, he deserves a special mention. He was more than happy to go above and beyond the call of duty to explain the transport system and to arrange anything we needed. He was proactive contacting our previous accommodation to retrieve some items we forgot. He was a (roman) fountain of knowledge when it came to things to do and how to arrange for day tours. It was reassuring and a pleasure to liaise with Ovidio .
