This hotel is in a great location: with excellent shopping, restaurants and dessert bars all close by. The city centre is a beautiful 7 to 10 minute walk across the river. Rooms are very neat and well set out. Breakfast was excellent and a good way to start the day. The Vatican is very close by. At no time did we feel unsafe in Rome and we walked every where. Two things I would suggest is the hotel upgrades the in room hairdryers and the gentleman on the desk takes time to think before he makes comment about tours already booked by visitors.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms are quirky and comfortable. Jesopie was so helpful in reception. The breakfast is continental with loads of choice. It's close to the shopping area and in a really safe area. We absolutely loved it.

We stayed here for 4 days in November. It's close to Vatican, in a much nicer neighborhood in comparison to similarly priced hotels near Rome Termini station or other touristy areas. Lots of good pizzerias and gelatarias nearby. It's also close to the SIT airport bus stop on Via Crescenzio, getting to Fiumicino in 30 minutes.

As other have said, it's on a quiet street, in a nice, well maintained, secure building on upper floors. Breakfast is adequate, nothing special or elaborate. I wish they'd keep drinking water available after breakfast hours are over. They had water bottles for sale on third floor, but the fridge in our room wasn't working, so we didn't buy water from them, and instead picked it up much cheaper from the grocery market around the street corner.

While the staff is attentive, we had mixed experience. Fridge in our room wasn't working, and didn't get fixed during the 4 days we spent there.

Also, we had a prepaid reservation, and they told us that on our last day of stay, we should pay city tax. When I went to the lobby the night before we were leaving, to pay city tax (4 Euros/person/night), they said they take cash only. So I gave them a 50 Euro note, but they didn't have change to pay me back. So they told me to collect the change in the morning before we checked out. Next morning, the lobby attendant had to scramble for change, and eventually got it together from other staff. But we ended up missing our airport bus due to the 15 minutes spent in waiting for change. Kind of strange for a hotel in a big city to not take a credit card for city tax payment.

Next time, we will explore other hotels in the area, or in other parts of Rome.

We stayed here for 4 day’s in the beginning of November. It worked well for us, as we weren’t going to use the hotel for anything but sleep. It’s in a nice safe neighborhood. A short walk to the Vatican. The room itself was small and the bed was like sleeping on a box spring. The staff was very accommodating. Gave some great recommendations for dinning in the area.

The location is perfect, you can reach everything on foot. The staff was really helpful and everything was perfect. The room was good - small but very comfortable and clean. Special thanks to Guiseppe, he was really helpful and kind with us.
