Very close to Termini. Building with elevator (tight but just enough for 3 pax or less with luggage). Appartments that got transformed into bedrooms + small common kitchen (only has a sink, microwave and basic cutlery). Sliding doors, heating, AC, flat screen TV, fridge, desk, closet, shower, hair drier, good wi-fi. Cleaning every day (though not exhaustive, and not much attention to details - for ex the hair drier holder had dust on it).
The "double" bed was actually 2 (hard) matresses put together, and the sounds from the street and other rooms spread like there was someone else in your room. Not great for light sleepers, but ok if you need only the basics to sleep, shower and eventually have a quick simple microwave meal.

This place is a scam. It is listed as a B&B, but in reality it is much more like a hostel. The doors aren't even real doors, but those super cheap sliding ones that weigh about 5 pounds and don't form any kind of seal. So...you hear EVERYTHING. Which doesn't really matter, because you are not going to get one minute of sleep on the rock hard bed. The "breakfast area" is literally just outside the doors of all the rooms (they all open into a sad little central room, imagine a 3 meter x 3 meter room with some crappy packaged muffins and an electronic kettle with instant coffee). So when the first person gets up to go for the "breakfast" the entire establishment is awake. Kind of like someone making coffee in your bed with you. The owners were very nice, but really guys, how much would it cost to buy real doors and a soft mattress. I'm only giving this a 1/5 because 0/5 isn't an option. Beware....

It was ok, convenient location. Although the area not very good it is close to Termini, easy to get to the trains, buses, metro. It is also possible to walk everywhere from the place. The window of our room was coming out to the busy noisy street., earplugs recommended. Place was clean, but the bed was horrible, very very hard. And no coffee available in the morning. I wouldn't stay there again and perhaps will avoid B&B in the future.

Stayed for 5 nights in May for the Champions League final. Hostel is approx. a 10 minute walk to the Vatican City walls and Metro station. Is quite cheap to stay here because it's not slap bang in the centre, but worked out well for us as it's only a 10 minute walk to the Stadio Olimpico.

The hostel is at the far end of a side road off the main road. The hostel is quite basic and is a little scruffy, but for the price you can't complain. There is a small kitchen (which we used) that has cooking stove, fridge, utensils etc. There are 3 bathrooms; the main one has 3 showers and 1 toilet and sinks. There are also 2 private bathrooms that have a shower and toilet in them. The bathrooms are basic and could do with a bit of smartening up but water runs fine and the toilets were clean. The bedrooms are typical hostel dorms; bunks and lockers. The bed I had was fairly comfortable. You need to bring a padlock for the lockers (the lockers are quite big!). There is a bank, supermarket and a McDonalds literally behind the hostel so food and drink are never in short supply!

If you go to somewhere like Rome then you are hardly going to spend any time in your hostel/hotel as there is so much to see and do. We literally only slept and showered there, the rest of the time was spent seeing the city so if you're happy to rough it a bit then this place is perfect.
