Excellent apartment. The location is within easy reach of Campo de Fiori, Pantheon, Trastevere, Piazza Navona & Trevi just to start. I can't even begin to list the great food options within 10 minutes walk. The apartment itself is clean and comfortable, with excellent hot water and a powerful shower. Everything you need to cook a good meal, not that you should with all the options around. The neighborhood is energetic but not too noisy. It has a nice bustle. If you want to see and taste the best of Rome at a civilized pace this is the perfect location.

This has got to be the best located apartment in Rome. Walking distance to everything. It is exactly as described and a wonderful ancient building experience in a truly unique neighborhood often overlooked by those who visit Rome. It is exactly as described by Samir who is one of the very best hosts/communicators we have ever enjoyed in our many Airbnb experiences. The neighborhood is absolutely quiet after dark - really nice. If you are sensitive to noise the very nice newer A/C does make some expected noise, but it is not a defect, just the reality of the kind of A/C that can be installed in an ancient building that cannot have exterior mounted A/C - not a problem for us. Samir went out of his way to accommodate us with outstanding service above and beyond our expectations. We will be back!

Host and Apartment: The host was wonderful! From assisting us in getting to and from the airport to responding fast to any questions. The listing was better than expected, bed was super comfortable, windows looking over a historic piazza (the building is one of the few from 14th century). We were greeted with a beautiful spread of snacks, fruits, and wine (how wonderful is that?!). There is a washer but no dryer, but a drying rack, which wasn't what we are used to; so do laundry sooner than later for enough drying time on the rack. Make sure you ask how to use the washer, it's different from American washers (and write it down :-).
Kitchen: Fully supplied kitchen, which was a wonderful surprise, we had cereal, milk, sugar, coffee, salt, cooking oil, dishes, etc.; everything to make a breakfast. We never made dinner because we were always out late.
Neighborhood: The apartment is located underneath a bakery, so every morning we woke up to the delicious smell of bread which, soon after, bought for breakfast (they open at 9am). Right across is a Kosher bistro, chef Paolo, makes amazing dairy free desserts (Tiramisu, whip cream, etc.). Avoid the restaurant underneath the clock tower/next door to "Tourism Info store", they over charged for a bad meal, and tried to cheat us by charging more than the bill. But make sure to try the first restaurant underneath the building, they are very reasonably priced and delicious!!
We loved the neighborhood, especially it's historical significance in Roman history (ask the Tourism Info office right across); but according to them the building is part of a Romantic story :-). The apartment is 15min walking to the ruins and an amazing close distance to all the main sites.
Our next visit to Rome, this is where we'll stay!

Very clean, comfortable apartment near the Torre di Argentina bus stop. Has washing machine and a heated drying rack. Good location near bus stop made it easy to get to sites of interest. Up two flights of stairs, but not a big deal for us. Would rent again.
