My mother and mother in law were blown away by their most magnificent guide Raphaella who they described after the tour was a kindred spirit! They were thoroughly fascinated by her unique perspective and intimate familiarity with Florentine history.

CG,

I'm so pleased to hear that your mother and mother-in-law enjoyed Raffaela's company. We are lucky enough to collaborate with her for about 10 years now. I love that they felt she was a kindred spirit. She is definitely excellent company!

Sending all our best,

Kirsten

Marcelo arrived at the meeting steps on time. We waited for the 2 others who did not show. Be on time or you will left behind is my advice. There is a huge security line even at 8 am. Our guide got us through as quickly as possible, he asked if we were interested in various things and just moved on if we said we weren't. We hit the highlights of the museum and grounds. He gave us a very good primer on the Sistine Chapel and then we went in and looked at it. No talking in the chapel and it was really crowded so seeing it in his book really helped to orient you. Very busy day at the Basilica so that was hard to see things. I much preferred our semi private that became private tour than the competitors tours with headsets and a man holding a flag to follow.

Marina was very informative, competent and an absolute pleasure to have as a guide. If you can find her not through Presto that would be good. We booked the 8.00 am tour to avoid the crowds. For some unexplained reason(overbooked?) we were bounced to 1.30. We questioned this, and did not actually accept this deferred time, but we never got a response leaving us unsure of our booking and not happy as we had other plans, and had lost the early, before hours timing that we felt we had paid extra for. Presto are not the cheapest out there. Get Marina if you can. Dump Presto

A great private tour! Very informative! We
Had Marina as a tour guide and she was excellent. She showed us everything of importance in the Vatican museums and, the Sistine chapel and St Peters. A fantastic experience.

We had long put off doing a tour of the Vatican museums because of the crowds. We heard about Presto Tours from friends,so decided to give it a try. What a wonderful experience! We chose the semi private early morning tour that started one hour before the official opening of the museums. Our guide Jason met us right on time and we got in almost immediately. Jason knew exactly how to avoid the mad crush of the large tours and led us through flawlessly. The added plus was that he is currently working on his doctorate in art history and was extremely knowledgeable on all facets of the museum. I would highly recommend this tour and would certainly suggest that you ask for Jason as your guide if he is available.
