My girlfriend and I stayed 3 nights in Manarola in Barbara's apartment through air bnb. The view is spectacular, the apartment has everything you need including courtyard and balcony with incredible views. Close to town Centre and train and we felt manarola was the best of the five to stay. My girlfriend got sick and Barbara was incredibly helpful, organising a doctors appointment within half an hour, we were so lucky. Overall, amazing accommodation, location and host, and very well priced for what you get. Would highly recommend to anyone and won't look elsewhere when we come back!

Grand hotel. Good room with balcony overlooking the sea and the town, tranquil pool on the edge of a cliff and helpful staff. Great base to explore the Cinque Terra with the lively town of Monterosso below you. What's not to like?

What an amazing place! We stayed in the Creme Caramel room and were blown away by the location and amazing views. Our room had two balconies and overlooked both sides of the cliff in Manarola. With windows on three sides of the room, we always had a view. The studio apartment had a very comfortable bed and small kitchenette. The oversized towels in the bathroom were on a heated towel bar (bonus!) and although the shower is small, there are a lot of jets. It may cost a bit more to stay here, but it is well worth the price.

I was quite happy to pay € 225,- per night in March for a well functioning beautiful place. When we arrived on Monday, there was a puddle of water in the kitchen. On Tuesday, when we came back to enjoy the apartment after a long walk, a plumber was there working in the kitchen. He left shortly after, leaving a dirty kitchen which I had to clean. On Wednesday, when we came to the place after a long walk and wanted to enjoy ourselves, there again was the plumber, again working and leaving a dirty place. Moreover, the neighbour came up yelling at me, demanding that we cut off the water, just killing our relaxing time by their appearances. Then they shut off the water, leaving us with the problem having to use the basement place for toiletry. Again, when they left, the kitchen was disgustingly dirty. Naturally, it can happen that a pipe breaks. Too bad, that it happended to us, making our trip to the place ridiculous.
I expected at least a refund of part of the rent as we were not able to use the apartment as it was advertised. And keep in mind that I paid € 225,- per night! By the way, the shower in the other place did NOT work, so we weren´t even able to shower.

We were in Europe for 4 weeks. Manarola was quaint and beautiful. You do need to be physically able to climb up to Alla Port Rossa and pull your luggage. But it was worth it. It was magical. Orchids scattered on the bed. Wonderful patio overlooking the town. Breakfast every morning fresh bread and meats and cheeses Paradise and will go again
