This is a very hip - and pricey - neighborhood of Genoa, adjoining the seafront on the city's eastern end. The wide sidewalks make for excellent strolling, especially in the afternoon, when nice sunsets can be seen. Ice cream and small bars abound, as do people, which makes it great for that spectator sport, too.

Sorry to say that this seems overrated. You have to take the bus and then walk to get to a very small area where there is a rocky beach and few terraces. Nervi way better, just don't get down from the bus and it will be worth it.

Must see in GENOVA. Nice fish restaurants close to shore. A nice, peaceful and relaxing place... You can even swim there in summer season...

This is a charming little fishing port with fantasic views if you are prepared to climb to the top of the Cap di Santa Chiara. There was a excellent little fish restaurant up the track leading to the Church. My only complain is the rubbish - cigarette ends, plastic cups, glass bottles that some visitors have thrown over the sea wall. The Comune provide ample rubbish bins; but they must do a regular clean up of this area too.

Had a great lunch and stroll around this picturesque corner of Genoa overlooking the sea. Easy to get there by bus. A few good looking restaurants--we ate at GE8317. A great balance to the grittiness of the rest of the city.
