Spent four days in Santa Margherita. Went to the Taverna on a relative's recommendation. Excellent food, ate there twice. Guided by the waitress, who may be one of the owners, we shared green taglierini with red mullet sauce and had shrimp and veal scaloppine picatta. Second night we had the taglierini with sword fish sauce, sole muiere, and filet al Madeira, and dessert. With a half carafe of local white wine, each bill was less than a hundred euros for a perfect meal - delicious, simple, elegant. At least six other people in our travel group went there and reported similar happiness.
