So good I might have shed a tear. Nice location with outdoor seating. They have a seasonal menu in addition to their regular menu. Lots of vegetarian options. I went with the pasta with black truffles and gran padano. First course dishes between 11 and 15 Euro, great deal! Local white wine also nice. Had to try dessert, lots of choices. I had the chestnut cream with caramelized fig topping, one of the best desserts I have ever eaten. Cannot recommend this place enough.

I went to the restaurants with some customers to enjoy the dinner. We were really satisfied about the cooking (risotto so good!) and the kindness of the owner that pays attention to all details. We surely come back again!

A packed restaurant but they managed to squeeze us in. We ordered 2 starters, bruschetta and mixed cold meats from Bergamo, both delicious. We then ordered pizza and carbonara. Pizza base was thin with lots of cheese and delicious prosciutto, the pizza with ham and porcini mushrooms was filled with ham and porcinis hiding underneath. Carbonara was rich and flavoursome with the perfect amount of sauce. Bottle of red wine was full bodied, earthy and rich but very drinkable. Very attentive service, replacing the bread and topping up wine. There is a service charge €2.50pp and well worth it. Be careful the last bus Mon-Thurs leaves at 21:05. Funicular runs later. Enjoy!

One of the best meals I had in Italy! We ordered the salami pizza and the vegetarian pizza which were both excellent. But the show stopper was the Bergamo style ravioli tossed with sage and pancetta. Heavenly!!! We also ordered a bottle of red wine which was great. Highly recommended.

The location is just great very very close to the main square with the most interesting church in Bergamo Alta (Santa Maria Maggiore, an absoluite must to visit).
We ate on a table outside under a mild sun, good service, very good local food and good prices.
The description of the dishes is provided in several languages.
A good restaurant (we had a tourist menu, recommended!!), can't say anything about the pizza 'cause we didn't have any.
