“Don't even think of staying anywhere else!”

This apartment is amazing. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I booked the apartment, but we arrived in Bellagio and Carlo met us at the ferry and helped us with our luggage to the apartment. It was in the best location, it couldn't of been any better! Right above the main street opposite the ferry terminal. So close to everything but you can escape to your balcony and just look at the view - amazing.
Carlo couldn't have done more for us, the apartment was spotless, we loved the Nespresso machine and the bottle of wine he left for us. We actually extended our stay from 3 nights to 5 and were so glad we did. We loved Bellagio and I'm sure it was because of Carlo's apartment! He also gave us some excellent recommendations for restaurants and we had some of the most enjoyable, and reasonably priced, food of our entire 5 week Italian holiday.
Thank-you Carlo, we would definitely come back and stay again, and we will be recommending your apartment to all our friends.

This lovely, spacious, spotless apartment is across the street from the Bellagio ferry landing overlooking the gorgeous lake and the ferries coming and going. The balcony that seats two is a front row spot over the gentle hustle-bustle of the main lake front street filled with restaurants and shops. The apartment itself is sleek and simple, containing everything needed for a well-equipped holiday. Carlo is responsive and easy to work with, going out of his way to accommodate our schedule, meeting us at the ferry and carrying bags up those 3 flights of stairs, which compared to many of the stairs we've tackled in Italy, are very manageable. The only complaint we have is that we have to leave.

We were really disappointed when due to changes in our itinerary the Hotel Metropole Bellagio was no longer available, actually considered cancelling our stop in Bellagio. Then in my frantic search I came across Appartamento Cavour and its owner Carlo.
Carlo was great to deal with prior to our trip, very prompt in answering questions, very easy to deal with. He was also kind enough to meet us at the Ferry in Bellagio and walk us to our apartment. ( At the very most a 5 minute flat walk, especially for me who was distracted by the beauty of the Bellagio foreshore)
The apartment had everything you can imagine and is exactly as the photos show. It is beautiful and airy, has a large Bathroom, fully functional and well stocked kitchen, two large bedrooms rooms, wonderful lounge with a great little balcony. All spotlessly clean.
The location is at most 100 metres from the Metropole, the ferry stop and below the apartment are lovely popular restaurants and cafes with great views across Lake Como and the warf area. The apartment is on the third floor but don't let that deter you. The steps we found to be very easy, well spaced and gentle compared to many other steps and stairs in Italy and Carlo very kindly helped us with our luggage. I can not over state the beauty of sitting on the balcony. We found it very hard to leave, our days started with breakfast on the balcony and ended with drinks into the late evenings. So beautiful that we chose to eat at home in the evening two nights of our stay as we figured we couldn't buy a better view at any of the restaurants around. Hubby fetched my niece and I Pizza and Ice-cream from nearby shops and we dined in first class!! Miscellaneous things that make travelling easier....Washing Machine, great airer to dry off clothes and WIfi

We are three Australians in our early 60s; a couple and a single. We chose Apartamento Cavour for its location and view and we were not disappointed. Our host Carlo met us at the ferry arriving from Varenna and helped us with our luggage up the three flights of stairs! We were rewarded with a wonderful apartment with two spacious bedrooms, magnificent view over the lake and Piazza Mazzini, a generous bowl of fruit and a welcoming bottle of Prosecco.
The kitchen was well provisioned for cooking and cleaning and the Nespresso machine and capsules a nice touch. The washing machine and laundry supplies were also excellent. Nothing was wanting.
Carlo was on hand (his office close by) for any assistance if required.
We loved Bellagio and enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the piazza below. Yes there is noise when the doors and windows are open, but only occasionally did it go late into the night and did not bother us. Allowing fresh air into the room more than compensated for any noise. The stairs were not a problem and probably worked off some of the excess calories from the pasta, pastries and wonderful food we consumed.
We originally booked for a week, but on the second day decided to extend our stay, so we ended up staying for nine nights. We settled into a wonderful rhythm of ferry excursions, eating, shopping, walking, and visiting several Villas and their magnificent gardens. Lucky for us the rhododendrons and azaleas were in bloom.
The view from the balcony captivated us, with the ever changing light and scenery, ferries, taxi boats etc. Antipasto with a bottle of good Italian Red; we had the best seat in town.
We would definitely recommend and return to Apartamento Cavour.
