Having seen the excellent reviews I was worried that I might have got my hopes too high. However, it was (almost) all very good. The decor wasn't modern but was nice enough and the ambience was very good. Service was very friendly. We only had one course each but it was very good. A last minute ask for an insalate was no problem. Nice bottle of Barbera was reasonably price at 14 euro. The only thing that was bad - was the toilet - one of those medieval hole-in-the floor arrangements, why wouldn't you just buy a toilet? Didn't bother me but my wife wasn't impressed.
