Good small menu. Restaurant itself is also small. Reservations are recommended. English doesn't really work at this place, but you'll be fine with anything here. A little gem.

With mostly take away around the station area this place was a pleasant surprise. Reasonably priced and good hearty traditional food. The gentlemen who served us was charming. The guys in the kitchen also deserve a complement. Better than average.

Having seen the excellent reviews I was worried that I might have got my hopes too high. However, it was (almost) all very good. The decor wasn't modern but was nice enough and the ambience was very good. Service was very friendly. We only had one course each but it was very good. A last minute ask for an insalate was no problem. Nice bottle of Barbera was reasonably price at 14 euro. The only thing that was bad - was the toilet - one of those medieval hole-in-the floor arrangements, why wouldn't you just buy a toilet? Didn't bother me but my wife wasn't impressed.

Very welcoming for a welcome lunch yesterday. food excellent with specials ( veal in mushroom white sauce and veg and a entrecote steak and pan fried potato crisps) with a litre of mineral water and a coffee for 11 euros. + we added a glass of wine each both of which were very good fro 3 euros each.

Toilets were very clean and traditional.
