Monterosso amazing pizza and focaccia are my favorite spot in town. Strong of a more than 20 years experience, the pizza you can find here is absolutely unique in Milan's panorama. Ingredients and recipes are classic and eclectic at the same time.
Definitely a must, keep yellow line drop off at Porta Romana station. The shop is a single window, tiny one, left of Mc Donald's. Worth a mention even the mix crowd of customers, both locals and foreigners. Try it, they won't let you down.

I often return home on Sunday in the evening, and it has sort of become a tradition to grab a quick dinner at Ristoro Monterosso. There's always a good variety, the service is friendly and the pizza is fresh. While I wouldn't say it's an incredible pizza (it's only a matter of preference, as I prefer thin-crust pizza and here there's mostly thick crust), I do like the place for it's convenience and freshness.

We happened on to this little place while walking to the Metro from our hotel. We decided to grab a quick bite before heading to the sights. So glad we did! The pizza was excellent and the service friendly. The cheese tasted especially fresh. The slices were large, and cut into small squares for ease of eating while standing up. The crust is thicker, which was different than other pizzas we had in Italy. The prices were very reasonable, which was perfect for a family of five. What a great find!

after years of activity, this small pizza shop has created a community of local people that eat the great pizza they make everyday. During spring and summer, outside on the street you always find someone talking playfully and meeting up with the other guests: a social place. But obviously I come here for the focaccia and the pizza (and above all, the 'cecina', which they call the farinata, - but in Tuscany they call it cecina for sure). Price are fair.
Hands down.

Went here around noon one day and it wasn't busy. The owner surprisingly spoke amazing English and talked about his American girlfriend. Great guy. Ordered one with oregano, tomato sauce and stracchino cheese. It was cheesy and had a lot of spice flavor but was on the more mild side. A little over 3 euros which wasn't bad, the pizza was large.
