awesome place to eat!!!
We have to choose 3 dishes for 20€ and it was the best spended money for food for a lot of time! Awesome service.
Awesome desserts!!
You do not need wi-fi there.

Some years ago, a taxi driver would not have been too keen to take you to the end of the (extremely long) Via delle Forza Armata - it was not always considered a safe neighbourhood. Today, people from very far away come to enjoy the lunch at Bar 395, located in Baggio, once a small village in the countryside, later the departure point for polar explorer Umberto Nobiles airship 'Italia' - and now one of the small towns that have grown into a part of Milan (also meaning you don't have to convince a taxi driver - just take the bus, but remember that the first stop on Via delle Forza Armata is NOT the place to get off - it's still literally kilometers away from your destination). The first attraction of Bar 395 is obviously the food, served at lunchtime weekends, but even if the food is great (it is!), it's surpassed by the mood of the staff and guests, none of whom are afraid to joke with each other (including, sometimes, taking food from other tables, almost just for the fun). It's a wonderful place, simply. Yes - you need to speak Italian - or know some who does - to go there.

Tasty cuisine, generous and juicy, homemade, well-embraced regional dishes from whole Italy, fast service at lunch. Family managed. Sometimes chaotic, but unequalled in the price/quality ratio at fixed-price menu. Horse meat on Thursdays. Fish on Fridays. On Saturday night food quality reaches its top with a more careful service and a "slow food" timing.
Thanks to Anto, Conci, Lele, Salva, Enzo and the unparalled cooks!

P.S.
If possible, try to avoid cucumber salad, and get a tiramisù instead.

a very busy place, dearly loved by locals. It is far off the tourist track which only adds to its charm. I have only been there for lunch but i have never been disappointed. The price is incredibly cheap for what you get. Very lively atmosphere too
