This is an old hotel, yes it is dated but it is clean and comfortable. The room size is very good. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. There is a secure locked garage available. The Signora who owns the property was very welcoming and helpful. My only downside was the coffee at breakfast. These horrible coffee machines are unfortunately becoming the norm even in a coffee country like Italy.

Don't be put off by the exterior of this hotel. It is a comfortable and clean hotel. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. The location is perfect for exploring the old roman town. Breakfast is good too. Secure garage parking

Room Tip: The heart of Aosta is lovely with ample shopping, bars and restaurants. Outside of the centre idles not prepare you for the pleasant centre. This hotel is perfect for exploring

Old fashioned typical decoration, but clean and with a lot of charm.
Familiy run hotel, with a great welcome, also in French or english, always available and with good advise
Well located at walking distance from the train and bus station but also the city centre
Good wifi connection
Excellent breakfast buffet with a lot of choice, fruits, cereals, cheese, pastries, etc!

We stayed for one night at the hotel Roma and it was just the job! A family run establishment which has probably not changed in a while as is evident from the furnishing and overall feel but the welcome was warm and friendly (and in good English) and the room comfortable and clean even if basically furnished.
Location is fabulous - just a few yards walk from the Praetorian gate and Roman ruins with lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. Secure parking is a real added bonus if you have a car full of possessions for the holiday destination further into Italy and you don't want to leave the car on the street!
Breakfast was fine with a great espresso delivered with friendly helpfulness.
Aosta is a great stopping off point on the way further south and hotel Roma a convenient, friendly and inexpensive place to enjoy its charms.
