Nice decoration and fast service.
Tasty pizza but the menu included both local specialites as well as gourmet treats.

Unexpected lunch here, when the weather was too bad to ski. Good food, not too expensive. Pleasant atmosphere. Friendly helpful staff. Enjoyed it very much.

We stopped at Grivola for lunch and enjoyed an antipasta and pizzas. The pizzas were large and thin crusted. Our antipasta was a salad with polenta and grilled cheese on top - very good.
The pizzas we ordered had cheese and speck and the other with mushrooms and spicy sausage. Loved them both!!

Grivola was the first restaurant we visited on our first trip to Cervinia 15 years ago and over the years has always been our first stop.

Over that time it has changed from a very casual pizzeria/trattoria to an incredibly successful, regularly updated and improved, even enlarged restaurant.

The decor is typical, with a quirky feel due to the family being artists, and exhibiting their works. The fittings are now high end and this makes the overall experience very comfortable.

Service if fast, efficient and very good. take the time to try and speak a little Italian it will improve even more so! Due to its location it's very very busy so make sure you book ahead in the white weeks or else you'll be disappointed.

Food is great, although we've always stuck to pizza, pasta, local dishes. It's not fine dining, and the prices are reasonable and reflect this. It seems to me reviews that are critical expect fine dining. The portion sizes are big, again reflecting great value for money.

Due to its business it can feel chaotic at times but go with the experience and chat to the waiters and you'll have a wonderful experience.

It'll be our first stop next time too! :-)

Good food but service was a little patchy even though we were there at a quiet time. Sister restaurant La Motta on the mountain better !
