I’ve visited this little hole in the wall many times over the years.
Still friendly, great value and quick service too.

We passed this place while roaming the Venice streets. It is great for a quick bite of food while on the run. Everything was delicious.

The best Spritz in Venice for 2.50! Combined with a 1-2 euros sandwich! Can it get better than this, this is not a tourist only place, it is filled with locals at aperitivo time or Saturday’s at noon, just after visiting the market. Or after Rialto bridge and you need a quick break, you will not regret.

For me, there is no better place to stand and watch the world go by in Venice, than this wine bar. The location is great - at the edge of the Rialto market area, next to the judiciary so lots of uniforms and braid walking past, market porters, shoppers, locals and tourists to keep your eyes and your mind busy. The staff are lovely, the wine lists are varied and superb value for money, and the tramezzini are freshly made with the best of local ingredients. The clientele are varied and change regularly, so easy enough to add yourself to them and join the people watching - Salute!

Literally stumbled across this bar after crossing the Rivalto bridge. Locals were drinking out in the street after work and were welcoming and friendly. 4€ for a red wine and 1.50€ for a pommette torro which was a tuna cased in potato (yummy) abd their sandwiches were lovely. We went back for a drink everyday we were in Venice. Great value!!!
