Owner description: A masterpiece of Gothic architecture, the building and its sculptural decoration date from various periods. The interior, with works by artists such as Titian, Veronese, Tintoretto, A.Vittoria and Tiepolo, includes vast council chambers, superbly decorated residential apartments, and austere prison cells. Along the facades of the Palace run loggias that overlook St. Mark’s Square and the lagoon. The combined entrance ticket to the St. Mark’s Square Museums grants access to the Doge’s Palace, Museo Correr, Museo Archeologico Nazionale and Monumental Rooms of Biblioteca Marciana.

We visited on a cold, rainy day, but loved the visit! The paintings, frescoes, and architecture were splendid. The audio guide was a basic overview of each room/place we visited, and would have loved to have more detail as we wandered. Next time, we will definately book the "Secret Itineraries" tour in advance to see more of this historic site. Worth every penny and every minute!

It,s a palace, it’s a museum and also state romos, Court and jale. So all art, arquitecture and history in the same building. You can spend the wole day in there and you would need more time

We got our tickets online before our trip. Good thing because there was a huge line after we left the palace at noon. We did the secretive tour first and the guide was good. Then we toured the palace except for the residence. Overall worth the price. Note...you will have to check back packs at the cloak room. Can't get around it. Purse is ok.

I really enjoyed my visit there. I would highly recommend you buy tickets in advance, and maybe get one of specialty tours like the "prison" underground tour. It was fun to see the secret offices, secret passage ways, the underground cells, and to hear about the great escape of Casanova.

We all - including our young children - loved every room and the entire building. It's a must see when in Venice!
