but her villa was one of the best museum experiences I had in a while. Small. Check. Concise. Check. Famous artist. Check. Doable in a couple of hours. Check. Easily absorb the art. Check. Check out our clips of the great collection and search in YouTube: GoPro: Ready, Set, Italia! (Venice, Florence, & Tuscany) - HD 2K for more deets.

What a Villa. Wonderful modern Art, but I really enjoyed sitting on her canal front terrace and watching the world go by. Well worth the visit.

Visiting this museum is like an extension of your visit to Venice. While considering that Venice is an open air museum, this short visit to admire the beautiful works of art is a nice and momentary escape. There are works from the greatest painters of the past century: Picasso, Miro, Magritte, Pollock, Mondriaan,...this collection is dazzling ! The museum is a big italian style mansion located at the Canal Grande, where you can catch your breath on a terrace facing the water. Definitely worth the visit !

Lovely collections and spectacular views across the Grand Canal and a very peaceful garden to while away hours in!

Peggy amassed quite a collection and her policy of supporting living painters (most are now dead though!) certainly paid off. Well work a visit when sightseeing in Venice. There are some beautiful artworks to see.
