On the plus side it is immaculately clean. Towels and bath mats changed daily. Maria has limited English and we had very little Italian but she was good at getting us to understand not to sit in St marks square for coffee as it was expensive lol. The heating went in the last 2 days we were there. There is a bakers a few yards up the 'alley' and a newsagents on the corner and a wine/ olive oil shop on the other. Off the beaten track mostly locals so really pretty abd unspoilt by tourism. Lots of little bars, an ice cream place and eateries very close. Wifi is free in your room the card by the bed gives you the password. Bad points no tea making facilities in the room. We were cold at night no extra blankets in the room. It was also noisy at night from the bars emptying and this is also a family home. Perhaps one of the worst things is you have to be back by 11pm so the doors could get locked. We panicked walking back incase we got lost but also people eat quite late and we were clock watching every evening. Breakfast is all pre packed 2 croissants, 2 packs of Melba toast, sometimes yoghurt, some jams and a butter, stick to coffee or hot chocolate tea is a disaster everywhere.
