This Hilton is Not on the main island but the location is just a shuttle boat away to all major attractions. Happy to realize It is quite a nice escape from the crowd and got us to learn more about the real vénitien life on the outside island. Very good food options nearby, not touristic friendly service and in a Art district @_@ definitely recommend to friends and family to come to Hilton Venise.

The hotel is beautiful and located right on guidecca island just a boat ride from the main island away from the crowds.Room was a bid old but clean and comfortable with a great view of the water and the city. Our room had access to the executive lounge, however, this opens from 12-7 .Fantastic breakfast buffet style ,fresh orange juice and great coffee.A plus service.Excellent and professional staff .Amazing views from the pool but pool doesn’t open everyday. There is a restaurant on the main floor but food is mediocre.
Shuttle boat to San Marcos island is a bonus.
If you are coming here from Santa Lucia train station.take the ferry that comes to guidecca island the ferry stops at the molino stucky and it’s only 15 minutes ride also inexpensive .or you can go to San Marco and take the hotel shuttle but is longer about two hours .. the Red Cross comes to your room and do the covid test very easy so you don’t have to worry about that .
I love the private feeling of this location near to all but away from the madness of the city .

Room tip: Great views of the city on a private island

The upgraded room we had purchased was unavailable during our stay and instead we were offered free breakfast. We only had 2 nights in Venice and wish we had stayed at a different hotel. Not to mention getting to the hotel was not the easiest when traveling at 10PM from airport

As the tittle says, I would definitively stay here one night, but not more than that. If you’re coming late into Venice and want something affordable for the first night then this makes sense. For a longer stay I wouldn’t be so sure. If arriving by train, line B leaves you at a 5 min walk. Hotel has a water shuttle 1-3/4 times per hour depending on the time of the day to St Mark’s square. Trip takes about 10 minutes. Checkin lines take forever, even with priority for gold/diamond, not sure why they don’t have online checkin and keyless entry by now. Would have saved me 30 minutes in line. Wanted to go to the pool to relax for a bit and take some pictures of Venice. Turns out you have to call each day at 9am to a special desk they have set up to reserve a spot starting at 10am. What? Is this a resort? Ridiculous. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. AC worked perfectly (thank god). Benefits for Gold and Diamond will be stated but other than free breakfast, don’t expect anything else. They don’t wave fees and don’t do upgrades, so if you’re staying here don’t do it for the loyalty. There was a huge line for checkout so we just left and will deal with the incorrect bill by email.

Pros: our room was wonderful. Quiet. Clean. Great beds, pillows, bathroom was terrific.

Cons: queue for swimming pool the day of which feels like a bit of a cattle drive. Also, we queued, we arrived with people who did not and they were not turned away. Pool was super cold so we didn’t stay long.
Staff: serious, wth? You would think the Hilton would
Have a certain level of expectation that staff would be helpful, efficient…. Nope. Pass the buck Chuck. 40 minutes for check out! There were three lines. 2 for normal, 1 for priority. We were #2 in the priority line. After 20 minutes, I asked a woman at the consierge desk if she could find someone to aid with check out. She came back and said no one was available. 15 minutes later, when my husband started to lose his s*#t the quickly found someone. Ridiculous. Staff according to need.
Breakfast. 27€ for a poor buffet. We had to ask three people for coffe to which they all responded- not my job, ill find your server… we only went once, then we found a wonderful cafe about 400m away om the sea front with amazing coffee and croissants and NOT for 27€ ea.
Boo Hilton. Do better.

Room tip: Don’t take the breakfast at the Hilton. Walk down the sea front. There are some lovely cafes. Inexpensive. And you can not top the view!
