Cagliari is a lovely setting, a unique blend of metropolitan sensibilities with an older charm that comes out with everyone you talk to, and the care they express through their hospitality. The Place carries this idea on through their eclectic and fine taste. Luca and the staff were tremendously helpful, acting as concierge, translator, and friend! The room was absolutely lovely too. When you visit Sardinia and swing by this part of the island, Luca will treat you right.

Came here for our honeymoon to stay somewhere a bit more unusual to a standard hotel and it exceeded our expectations. We got the best suite complete with sauna in the room. It is stylishly furnished and small touches of a bottle of water every day meant a lot.

Location is very central, close to the bustling Piazza Yenne and a short walk to the train and bus station and the Castello part of town.

Would definitely recommend

Stayed here in October with my husband, sister & brother-in-law. About 10 to 15 min drive from airport to hotel by private minibus booked, cost €66 return. The hotel does offer an airport shuttle at a charge as well. Situated on a side street, double rooms very spacious, powerful shower, very comfortable beds. Toiletries & hairdryer supplied. Rooms cleaned everyday. Sky TV and wifi which worked very well. As mentioned breakfast in nearby cafe, continental. Hotel down a quiet side street but very centrally located. Recommended to friends and family.
Cagliari a beautiful city to visit with beautiful churches, lovely beaches and lovely people.

This was a lovely little hotel, smartly furnished in a cool "urban loft" style. We stayed one night before flying home. The narrow street right outside the window was mildly disconcerting, especially with neighbouring buildings seemingly on the point of collapse - but with the shutters closed, the room was spacious, cosy and quiet. The bathroom with multi-angle sound-and-light shower was excellent although there was a crack in the shower cubicle floor. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. As seems to be common with boutique hotels, breakfast was served at a nearby café but the food here was really good, and it was a great opportunity to feel temporarily like a local.

The place is perfectly located, in the heart of the old town, Cagliari is a perfect, romantic city that I fell in love with, however, I didn t like the idea that the owner was there for us and our needs only 4, or 5 hours a day, I think they need to change that so that the value for money could be more that great!
