The appartment is lovely and well maintained. The kitchen was well supplied with food and milk for the breakfast time and the WC were clean. The appartment is at the very downtown of the old Palermo and hence most of the touristic hotspots are at walking distance. The area is safe and the car can be left on the street without problems.
The person who took care of the welcome and return of keys was very attentive and helpful.

This spacious apartment was originally an old palace and still has the dimensions of such. Not withstanding, the kitchen is small and limited, we were greatful for the basket of goodies on arrival. The apartment is graced with beautiful antiques however the layout is such that the biggest room in the apartment is the bedroom, it misses out on a comfortable lounge area.
Having said all of this the apartment is well presented and in a superb location right in the centre of the old part of the city and easy walking distance to everything of note.
The host Francesca, who speaks excellent English was very helpful, met us at the front door and was there to help us on departure including the arrangement of a taxi to the airport.

We have to admit to being worried never having travelled to Sicily before that this was too good to be true. This apartment was better.
In a 500 year old Palazzo the apartment has amazingly high ceilings, period features and only 50 metres from the centre of Palermo. We could walk everywhere safely. The piazza around the corner was great for dinner. After having spent many months in Italy in the past, we were welcome to the cleanest apartment with electrics and plumbing that were modern!
Francesca met us a few minutes after ringing on her perfectly white bike.
Especially with kids, it is a real joy to stay in something with such history and character rather than a hotel. Its a part of old Palermo.
