We stayed at The Centro for 1 week, from 9/6/23 to 16/6/23. The hotel is very close to all the bars + restaurants of the town, and a 5 minute walk to the main line train station. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are kept very clean, but basic. No mini fridge or kettle, no tea / coffee making equipment. The rooms are a good size. The only complaint from us, was the fact we were woken every morning in the early hours by the bin men, who were very noisy, emptying metal bins from under our balcony (room 7) and a water heater in the hallway opposite that made noises all through the night. The breakfast, €5 each, is simple and ok, but nothing more. Nothing cooked, just cakes and bread rolls with ham or cheese. This hotel is ideal as a base, somewhere to leave your case and explore, but not much else. However, it is clean and the staff are nice, so it’s not all bad.More
