This is a lovely hotel in a perfect position just a few minutes walk from the centre of Taormina. Our room was big, clean and modern with a balcony and large bathroom. There was a complimentary bottle of prosecco in the room on arrival which was a nice touch. The breakfast was fantastic - a huge spread of hot and cold food, bread, cakes, even bottles of prosecco. The only negative thing about this hotel is the bar staff aren't very friendly and service is extremely slow. But otherwise this is a great place to stay when visiting Taormina."

We booked to stay here through Travel Republic and were aware of mixed reviews. On arrival we were offered a room upgrade to one with sea views for a fraction of the cost of one when we made our booking. The room is superb (332) . TV, safe ( no charge) complimentary bowl of fruit, bottles of water and a bottle of wine in the room. Free Tea and coffee in the room and a mini bar (but not used). Stunning view over the bay and the air conditioning in the room is the perfect temperature. We have complimentary wifi, just need to ask for a free card when the data runs out. The room is cleaned to a high standard with clean towels every day.

The breakfast has a massive selection ranging from fresh fruit, hot food, cereals, pastries, breads and a large selection of cold meats and cheeses.

We eat out so cannot comment on the evening meals. I have found all the staff to be helpful but not really had an issue to put to them. The public areas and pool are also cleaned daily to a good standard and there is no lack of sun beds around the pool either in the sun or shade.

Taormina is a beautiful place to visit and the hotel is perfectly situated to walk into the town, catch a bus or use cable car to the beach area.

Very happily surprised with the hotel given the mixed reviews and I genuinely cannot fault it and highly recommend it.

I visited here last year with my family and still have fond memories. Delicious food for all meals. The Sicilian night is a real treat and top notch. Lovely sea views and the all inclusive deals have quality spirits not cheap stuff. The rooms are a good size with a nice shower. The swimming pool lovely with shaded areas. Very central too. Lastly the staff are so lovely. The place needs a bit of a refurb but I would stay here again for sure. Worth every penny.

Myself and 5 other couples (along with approx. 50 other people) booked this hotel as it was much better value than the wedding Hotel which was down on the beach. (20 min drive) Even the bride and groom stayed here instead of the wedding hotel. This hotel is close to the main town and bus station. Close to the cable cars aswell to get the beach.
Pool is deep and not suitable for children. Pool area was grand we had a nice lifeguard / barman who didn't mind the banter and music we brought.
We had heard different chat that Taormina was expensive. This didn't ring true for us. The hotel itself had a super deal of 7 pints for €21.50, which compared to Irish prices is brilliant. They also had 7 cocktails (although their idea of cocktails is limited) for €35 which is reasonable.
The hotel had a card that you used to pay for food / drink while there. Honestly. Use it when you can. The staff prefer it as they don't seem to hold alot of cash around. We were there 4 days and spent less than €100 on the card. There is a city tax too €7 per day. The breakfast was OK, alot of cold foods. All they had cooked was (soggy) scrambled egg and bacon. Alot of cold hams, cheese, fresh fruit, breads etc
The lunch menu was lovely and light, pasta, sandwiches, paninis etc. We didn't have dinner there.
All in all if you're coming over for a few days for a wedding and you don't want to overspend then his hotel works very well.

I stayed here as part of a wedding party in May and was so disappointed by this hotel. The hotel is let down by its dated rooms, over priced bar/restaurant, and it’s terrible rude staff. They treat guests like they are an inconvenience. If you have a problem they do not help, they have no complaints procedure and instead just repeat the same things over and over until you give up.
Everyone in the wedding party commented on how rude the staff were throughout the whole trip. We all regretted staying here as it was so much money for such a mediocre hotel.
There are many other hotels in Taormina in just as good a location so I suggest staying in one of those instead.
