We chose to eat lunch here al fresco after seeing the views the restaurant's terrace afforded over the square, and soaked up the wonderful atmosphere that is Cortona.
The menu was varied. We chose antipasti followed by pasta and washed it all down with some very good local white wine. The Caprese was not on the menu but was offered to us; the mozzarella was delicious and the tomatoes typically Italian and ripe. The other starter was described as a "tart" but actually was a type of warm souffle, perfectly prepared and cooked. The wild boar pasta was utterly delicious and the cannelloni was good and apparently 'grandma's recipe'!
The service was efficient and friendly.
