this stay was wonderful, the staff was very considerate, very helpful. We particularly enjoyed the location of the hotel (right in the city centre, so easy of access) and the Roof Garden restaurant with the spectacular 360° view, even more impressive in the morning.

Loved every second of it. Will definitely return some day.

We chose the Hotel Baglioni because of it's proximity to the train station--- and the reviews from Trip Advisor.

When we initially arrived (at 10AM), they offered us a room straight away. This made us really happy until we got to the room. It was very very small, and the only window faced an interior air shaft and got absolutely no light.

So, after a 9 hour flight and travel by train from Rome to Florence, I marched downstairs and asked them to change our room. Another room wasn't immediately ready, so we headed out to explore the neighborhood.

The Hotel is situated not exactly in the "center of things" but a stone's throw away. A short walk gets you to the Duomo, and a little further along gets you to the waterfront.

Ultimately, our new room was absolutely wonderful and it felt like we were in the home of our Italian relatives. The hotel was warm and welcoming, the breakfast was more than adequate and lovely.

We loved Florence and loved the hotel in the end. Would stay there again!

We always seem to get very lucky with the locations of hotels we choose and Hotel Baglioni was no exception. 2 minute walk to the Duomo. What more could you want?
The room was small, but the view was pretty great. I think we opted for one of the less expensive rooms. When we go back, we will certainly upgrade. Nevertheless, the hotel itself is just tremendous. The hallways, the furniture, the decor all top notch. This hotel feels luxurious. It is the type of place you would expect important people to stay.
We did not have the opportunity to eat in the restaurant, but the roof-top breakfast buffet has the most spectacular panoramic view of any hotel in Florence (my guess).
The staff was FIVE STAR! Exceedingly helpful with reservations, excursions, tickets to events, etc. Phenomenal service! You cannot go wrong with this place.

My Friend and I had a fabulous weekend in Florence and we stayed in this Hotel. The staff we lovely and very attentive. The rooms were classically furnished, which is what we like. The concierge was very helpful and nothing was any problem. The best part of the Hotel is the breakfast room. Stunning views over the city. Not what you would expect to see but a real eyeful. Going back again in January so hoping it will be just as good.

The Grand Hotel Baglioni Firenze was a wonderful experience. The staff was wonderful and very helptul. The top floor terrace/restaurant has a breathtaking view of Florence. Unfortunately the tables had been removed for the season, but we were still able to go up there and take in the spectacular view of Florence. It is exceptionally convenient to the train/bus station and all of downtown Florence.
