This property reminded me of a James Bond movie. The hotel is perched on a rocky cliff overlooking all of Florence. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The only drawback is the distance the hotel is from the downtown Florence. It's necessary to take a cab for about 15 euro to get down to town... but the views and hotel are worth it!

We loved Eden Rock!!!! We stayed there for 4 nights and had a wonderful stay !!! The staff we extremely pleasant and helpful with everything and offered plenty of suggestions for where to eat with the locals and what to see and do. The hotel is located about 10 minutes from the heart of Florence and being situated up on a hill, it has an amazing view of the city. The grounds and beautiful and the kids loved the pool. The rooms were neat, clean and updated. Breakfast was perfect and dinner was very good as well. They have a wine cellar and gave us suggestions for the perfect bottles for us.
Overall we loved Eden Rock and will stay again!!!!

We traveled with our golden retriever and our cat and stayed in the Imperial apartment. This view from the Imperial suite is how Florence should be admired privately or with those you care about. We were able to sit back in the downstairs and upstairs in our bedroom to soak in the views daily and nightly. Our pets were treated with respect, kindness and enthusiasm from all members of their staff. The staff is attentive and genuine. The pool is an infinity pool and it is very cozy. This B&B hotel surpasses any of the hotels we have stayed in Florence and we shall return. The rooms are modern and comfortable (the bed may be a little firm for some, but we prefer firmer). Use of a car makes exploration easier and please do yourself a favor and get a car. The excursions to neighboring towns is a must especially in summer. I know watching Italians drive is daunting but you will drive like them in a short time, just jump into the chaos! If you are coming by car, the entrance to the hotel is a sharp turn left and right into the garage. From the garage take a few stairs to the pool and eating area or take the elevator. You must continuously hold down the elevator button in order to reach the pool level from the garage. From the pool is another staircase to the reception. You will get a nice workout taking the stairs. There is another normal elevator from the pool but think stairs. For dogs, there are tiered areas behind the hotel and a short street after the garage. Otherwise, there are numerous parks to take your dog(s) that the staff will recommend. Another point of interest, this hotel only serves breakfast. I do hope they change this and provide lunch and dinner in the future. There is a busy road below the Eden Rock Resort and it can be heard from the pool but the rooms are quiet and peaceful. Since the hotel is small it is easier to strike up conversations with your fellow guests and enjoy their company. The staff is also refreshingly open and make you feel as though you are at their home. The kitchen was a good option but a few things had to be requested from the kitchen; however, if you are the designated cook use this to your advantage and go out to dinner, which the staff will provide excellent places to discover. Just use the kitchen for drinks or snacks.

Room Tip: Imperial suite is an apartment with the panoramic views from almost every room.

Had imperial suite, quite large, and quiet. Great breakfast, loved the eggs. The staff was very pleasant. Drawback are proximity from a restaurant and the center of Firenze. Had to drive a bit. Beds a bit hard, as all seemed in Italy. Lots of wasps near pool, made it un-useable.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the last couple of years. Every year the hotel adds features and makes my time with my family even better. Alessandro, Rocco, Danielle, Ciarra and Silvia (amongst the staff) are all amazing and make this small hotel a perfect stay for anyone. Would not stay elsewhere in or near Florence.
