Ideal for station, 20 to 25 minute walk to the Leaning Tower.Very dated, tired decor bedroom needs redecorating and bathroom a complete refurb. Towels are the thinnest thing ever. Bed clean. Area a bit seedy. Friendly staff. Sure there must be better in Pisa

This was our first night on a trip round Europe so we only needed a simple hotel for an overnight stay close to the train station and leaning tower. This is exactly what we got. The hotel is hidden down an alley but we felt safe enough even though we arrived late at night. We were made to feel welcome although due to our delayed flight we didn't arrive until after midnight, this wasn't a problem at all. The staff were all very helpful during our short stay and the breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold food.
The hotel was less than 5 minutes from the train station and 20 minutes from the leaning tower.
The hotel looked desperate for new furniture and doesn't look as if it has been renovated in years but for a low cost overnight stay it was adequate. I don't think I would stay in the hotel for an extended length of time.
Overall if you need a low cost overnight stay when you're in Pisa just to visit the tower the hotel is perfect.

Very dated city centre hotel, it does however have a bit of character. Fine for a 1 night stop over. 25 minute stroll to the Leaning Tower. Just across the road from the main station. Entrace to hotel via a scruffly arcade. Our room was on the 6th floor which gave views over the roof tops and beyond. The shower was nice and hot but a bit difficult to control the temperature. Towels were the thinest I have come across.

We choose this hotel as we had an over night stay in Pisa before travelling to our country house for the week. This was ideal as not to far from the airport and walkable to explore Pisa with parking near by for the hire car. We stayed with three children aged 10, 7 and 1 year, there was plenty or room in our room even with a travel cot. The kids enjoyed the breakfast there was a good selection and they liked the kids corner. The man on reception was very helpful. He gave us a map of the city, suggested a good route to take through the city to see the all the landmarks and marked off some good places to eat.
All in all it's a good hotel if you are staying in Pisa for a short break.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in August.

The Good:
- Location, adjacent to the train station so it is easy to get to and easy to leave for day trips
- Free public water spigot in front of the train station so you don't need to buy bottled water all the time
- Great front desk service personnel
- Excellent breakfast spread with huge variety, good quality and time window
- Good AC
- Strong Wifi
- Very reasonable rates for what you get

The Bad:
- The building and surroundings seem a little dilapidated and this hotel has seen better days, but the staff has done a good job of maintenance and it still retains a lot of character
- The bathtub shower enclosure is kinda funky -- if you are not careful, the water spray might find its way onto the bathroom floor and soak anything you've put down there
- Had two mosquitoes flying around in the room that we eventually were able to search and destroy (before they did that to us)
- A little bit of a walk to the Field of Miracles, but it is a pleasant enough walk

Bottom Line:
- It's not super fancy (maybe a long time ago it was) but it gets the job done for a great rate, superb breakfast spread, excellent location and very well-meaning and service-oriented staff. They do a good job keeping the hotel up to par for a positive guest experience, and we appreciate their effort and fully endorse this hotel as a great bargain for a short or long term stay in Pisa
