I fully endorse previous comments made regarding a charming B&B run by a very friendly hostess Federico, ably supported by her mother. We were given a choice of rooms on arrival and although equally clean, charming we were able to pick a room with a fridge and kitchen.Do not believe that it is a ten minute walk and catch the 54 bus that picks you up drops you off directly outside the property and takes only 8 minutes. Breakfast each morning is full of homemade jams, fresh warm bread, cakes and tarts, as well as fresh fruit grown on the property. Federico and her mum are there to serve coffee and to make sure everything is Ok. There are no savoury offerings, although toast/bread and the beautiful jams made up for this. Be aware that there is no air conditioning if you find the heat difficult; keep the room windows closed until evening when a cool breeze comes in. We enjoyed our stay with fruit and olive trees abound, overlooking the Tuscan countryside. Very different from being in a hotel.

Room tip: If you want a fridge, ask for it at the time of booking.

We loved our stay with Federica. From our first email exchanges we could tell there would be a warm welcome and we were not disappointed. Our room was very large and comfortable and breakfast was a delight, from the homemade jams to the lively conversations. Federica is rightfully proud of her location and brimming with good recommendations for how to spend our time during the days, and where to dine in Siena. On our last day she gave us a guided tour of the property to learn more about the olive production, to taste the freshly ripened cherries and to learn the names of fruit trees which were totally unknown to us. The price is a steal for such a great place to stay, where you can park easily and either walk or use the local buses to explore. Thank you Federica, from your new friends in Atlanta

We stayed here for 3 nights on our tour of Italy. It was one of our best stays, the rooms were neat and spacious and the surrounding was very peaceful and quiet with free parking. It was also situated near Siena, either a 15 minute walk or a quick bus drive. The breakfasts that Federica serves with her homemade jams and fruits from her garden are a perfect way to start the day. Federica is very helpful and always smiling, the best host that we had on our trip. The best value for money that we paid for any of our accommodation, will definitely stay there again!

Family of 3 enjoyed our stay at the Podere le v=Vigne very much. An oacis of calm and serenity within a few minutes of Siena's main square. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Family run and family friendly - we felt very much at home.

We did not plan to stay here but could not find the B&B we were looking for. This place was outside the town but within walking distance for the energetic walker! I have had many capuchino's in my day, but I have had the best capuchino's in my life while staying here.
