I must admit, this review is long overdue. We have visited Spazzavento a number of times over the years. It is a magical place in beautiful surroundings, a typical Tuscan landscape. The accommodation is charming, clean and comfortable. We often ate our meals on the lovely lawn outside. There's also a bbq that may be used by the guests. The pool's idyllic setting has to be seen to be appreciated. It's lovely having a swim overlooking the rolling Tuscan hills. Daniele and his family are truly charming people.

One should also mention that this Agriturismo is conveniently placed to enable guests to travel around Toscana. Although one may not be able to use the pool in winter, I would definitely consider visiting the place in this period too, as it would be lovely to walk around seeing the beautiful countryside at this time of the year, in between breaks from sightseeing.

A wonderful stay in a wonderful villa. A spacious villa which is well equipped and clean. The rooms are cool due to high ceilings, and well decorated. The pool and grounds are quite and well kept. The pool is set away from the road (which is very quiet anyway), and I've looks the hills. Ideally located in the Tuscan hills, Lucca, Pisa, San Gimignano, and Florence (by train) are all under an hour away by car.

We had a most wonderful relaxing holiday. The pool is excellent, very clean, great size and beautiful views. Apartment is surrounded by lovely countryside. We enjoyed using the BBQ and eating outside in the well kept garden. Danielle and his family are most welcoming and friendly, happy to help if needed and able to recommend places to eat, making reservations for us too.

We vissited spazzavento in the middel of august 2014, and sleept four nights at this wineyard. We rented a room with privat bathroom. The breakfast was lovely, and with local ham, cheese and home made italian cake every day. Danielle gave us good advice for local restaurants, and places we should vissit, and we ate the best italian meal so far. We also got a guided tour on his wine and olive yard. This was a great experience, and we learnd a lot. We also tasted their wine. We recomend this place to everyone who wants to vissit Toscana. You should rent a car and vissit some of the well known places as Vinci, Lucca and San Gimignano. Danielle can help buying tickets for local museums.

We absolutely loved our stay at Agriturismo Spazzavento. It was the highlight of our family’s trip to Italy.

Owner Daniele Zipoli gave us a warm greeting and was always understanding about our needs and responsive to our requests. He also gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations and even made reservations for us.

The setting is pretty close to perfect, situated up on a hill with stunning views of idyllic Tuscan vineyards, farmhouses, and distant towns in every direction. Located near the small hamlet of Apparita, it’s secluded and quiet -- but you’re actually just a quick drive to necessities like ATMs, grocery stores, restaurants, and larger villages. And it’s an easy drive for day trips to Vinci, Lucca, Pisa, and Florence.

The grounds of the agriturismo are also very nice, especially the pool area which shares the incredible view. We found plenty of room on the lawn to set up tables and dine. And you can take long walks through Daniele’s vineyard and along the fields.

Our apartment was just perfect for our family of four. We loved the big window in the living room/kitchen, looking out over the countryside. Everything was clean and up to date, but still with an old Tuscan feel.

We would heartily recommend Agriturismo Spazzavento to any family looking for a relaxing stay in the heart of beautiful Tuscany.

Room Tip: We loved the apartment LOGGIATO, which had a large living room/kitchen with a pull out couch for the kids, a nice bathroom, and a master bedroom for my wife and I. The view from the kitchen window was gorgeous.
