If it's on the menu I get it, and this was outstanding. Cooked through but pink, concentrated mushroom sauce - not creamy not too much of it. Generous portion. Would go back just for this. The herring (another favourite) was disappointing too oily and though it came in thyme and shalott these hadnt really influenced the herring, which is strange and with only French bread on the table a couple of the usual boiled potatoes were missed. So excellent for Riz de veau and average for the herring. Quick lovely service perfect for a business lunch. Just as well it was almost empty because the tables are too close together.

Thank galliardo

Although the Bistro is close to the lake it cannot be seen as it is situated in a small terrace of shops most appear to be empty. However, the inside is warm and attractive and as soon as we shut the door there were two servers ready to take our coats and seat us. There was a small menu on the table advising the apero's available and our choice was quickly brought to us. The menu is interesting covering a variety of dishes and the wine list equally so. We both enjoyed the meal.

We went on a Wednesday as a group of 10 for business dinner. We were greeted by very pleasant staff and seated in a this beautifully decorated place. The wine menu was great (so was I told). It took them about 15-20 min to take our orders but we thought it was due to late showing of a couple of our guests. We had a set menu ordered as a group but the appetizers took long time to arrive. We thought it was just typical relaxed service but hen realized that there was probably only one server working in our section and the other side also.
After finishing the appetizers the table was not cleared for further 15 min and thus after more than an hour after arriving we had barely finished appetizers only.
Appetizers were not bad. (salmon tartar and Asparagus)
Unfortunately same story with main course. Delayed arrival (after making a bit of a noise second server arrived) The fish had so many bones that we had to be very careful while eating. Steak was nice. But the french fries were burnt.

Not again.

We received a lovely welcome and the staff were very helpful all evening. The food was excellent and not overpriced like many of the other restaurants in Geneva.

We would definitely go back!!
