While this hotel is great for its location in downtown Geneva allowing for work, shopping and foodie culture, it is an older hotel that has been refurbished. Rooms are smaller and bathrooms are good and refurbished to a high standard. The staff is very good and polite. They are very efficient. This hotel is very appropriate for a short visit for business and/or pleasure. Just feels a little cramped.

Room Tip: Take a room at the back of the hotel which is quieter

This is a centally located hotel on a side street with access to everything you wish to see or do. It is smaller, and as deluxe and personal as exists. The formal dining room features cherry mahogany and candlelight intimacy. The food is incomparable in flavor, presentation as art. The room is lit by handblown gkass grape lamps from Murano, Italy. The owner was kind enough to allow me to purchase one which is now in my dining room.
Breakfast is brought on silver platters to your en suite accommodation with real espresso or latte and chocolate croissants among other choices. I also saw hotel residents with small dogs.
This hotel is simple elegance and if you are fortunate enough to stay here, you will feel like royalty. Class in perfection.
I long to return.

We stayed only for one night. The room was interior and therefore very quiet. Not big, but well equipped and with professional staff. The main aspect to improve is the breakfast: it should be a buffet like most of the hotels of the world.

This is my second time in two years. The hotel sits in a quiet square in a very central location in Geneve. It is near the best shopping sites in the city. However, Geneva is the City that Always Sleep! it is also an expensive city albeit with nice views. I was assigned a less desirable room in the 7th Floor. The lift only goes to the 6th Floor. It was essentially an attic. The furnishings are of a good quality but they feel old. The amenities are OK. This room was a clear downgrade from the one I stayed in two years ago. To get there you have to climb stairs. It looks away from the lake and the city and into the roofs of nearby properties that are under construction. Yet they are quiet. Very little noise. In short, it was acceptable but nowhere near the world class one would expect form Relais & Chateaux. The staff was very nice and willing to always help. The restaurant is good but overpriced. My recommendation is that they refurbish the place urgently to maintain standards.

Room Tip: Avoid 7th Floor
