Excellent choice for business visitors to Geneva who want a good place to stay, well connected to centre town and to the UN agencies nearby. Clean rooms, very pleasant staff and superb breakfast. Good choice also for a quite, late evening meal after work.

Dubai: it's like living in a 24/7 5 star shopping mall. 99% plastic, efficient sunshine. Great if you like golf and servitude, less so if you prefer nature and freedom. I chose Mon Remo because of its proximity to the lake, the park and the centre. I couldn't have chosen better. The mental illness of guaranteed sunshine seemed a world away as the rain drenched clouds caressed the snow capped mountains. Stunning. As for the hotel, I loved it. Loved the artistic elegance, the low lit sensitivity, the immaculately clean, comfortable bedroom and the down-to-earth non-deferential friendliness of the service. European sophistication.

This hotel has been modernised and combines convenience for the Palais des Nations with a unique charm of its own. Its breakfasts are interesting and after a busy day you can enjoy a drink or meal at the bar. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It has been my first choice for a stay in Geneva for many years and will continue to be in the future

I was very satisfied with this hotel. It ticked all the boxes needed as a work base in Geneva if you come in for work in the UN area, which is about a 10 minute walk. It's also across the lake, you cross the street and go through Villa Moynier's gardens and voila you are by the lake enjoying the serenity. Hotel reception check in was very smooth, the staff are very helpful and polite. Free wifi of course. There is also a restaurant that opens at night and for breakfast and you can call for room service between 6-9pm. The room has a nice refurbished element to it so its not one of those dated Swiss bathrooms but rather has all the latest fixtures and fittings. You also get a free tram and bus pass but of course if you need to take a taxi that can be arranged for you via hotel. It was about 425 CHF for 2 nights with no breakfast, which unfortunately seems to be the cheaper rate in Geneva at the time. I would recommend for work.
