You find this beautiful and stylish spot on your right going down from Riffelberg towards Furi on piste 41.
Very friendly staff and good atmosphere, quite good food, slightly pricy.
On a clear day the view of Matterhorn is breathtaking.

Arrived relaxed before last ski lift home, with plenty of time. Regrettably service was hopelessly slow and a couple of people had only about 7mins to eat their food before we were too anxious for our last lift (7mins to spare)....but close enough!
HOWEVER the venison was slow cooked for 10 hours and was melt in the mouth. And the "cool irish guy" who served us at the end and tried to hurry it all along was totally charming, so all forgiven. Cheers for the "simon garfunkel" flavoured genepi!

We first came here 3 years ago when Dave and Tanya had first taken over this mountain restaurant. During our week here this year we have eaten here twice - it’s that good.

The mountain restaurants in Zermatt and very different to eating in other resorts. Many of the restaurants are old chalets run by families and it really is like eating in their homes. Dave and Tanya really make you feel at home here. They are lovely people and serve lovely food - the lamb is especially good.

When not working in the restaurant Dave can be found playing with his band in the Pappalla pub in town - and if you are around when they are playing do go in. They are great and it’s a good night.

Very slow service. Waited an hour for very average food.
Overcrowded, had to share table and spaghetti so overspiced it was uneatable

New chefs wow, really good food and better that our last visit, the whole team cant do enough, we visited on a lunchtime and the whole terrace had a great atmophere, the sun was shining, live music great food and drinks what more could you ask for just brillant ...

Dave and Tanja remembered us from January which was nice a we enjoyed a nice little shot at the end of our meal with the owner Dave, nice touch ....

Cant wait to return to this restaurant and one of the best places in the world, Zermatt.
