A fantastic place to visit and experience just how good fine dinning can be in the land of the Swiss. Beat, (Mr Caduff) speaks a very colorful English as a few other languages (I am sure just as colorfully). His menus are of perfect design, but it is his privately collected wine cellar (all 100+2m of it) that is out of this world. I have lived decades in Switzerlands corporate world of contract dinners and Christmas parties, even Private dining experiences. However, now of them come close to the elegant pairing and passion Beat has for his wine and food.
PRO TIP 1, make a reservation, save room for Cheese desert, the selection is out of this world, second only to a French formageri, kept under a large glass show case temperature controlled just above the stairs to the wine cellar.
PRO TIP 2, book the wine tasting (7 different wines) come early, place you dinner order before your tasting and talk with Beat about what you like in wines. He will undoubtedly find a perfect match for your taste, food and pocket book. Stay long into the night and enjoy yourself. You have earned it and the service makes you feel well rewarded.
