A very nice restaurant and worth a visit if in Zurich. As you can imagine, the wine selection is very good with a number of top Swiss wines on the list. Food was very good and both the salads and mains were beautifully prepared with care and freshness. Someone else was paying :-) so I can't really comment on the price.

Cool, reduce to the max with an awesome wine cellar equipped with the nicest wines! Unbelievable cheese and highest quality food by a very fair value! It's an absolute must to dine here! The menu is pretty small compare to other restaurants, but the chef goes each day to the fresh market - therefore each day a new menu - amazing!

The restaurant is very elegant and spacious has a very nice feel to it, the wine cellar is really nice and the candles everywhere add an even nicer touch. The food was very tasty, though the portions are quite small especially for the price you pay. This probably is part of the reason why the Restaurant was empty. There were only two tables of two apart from us the whole evening, both of which left very quickly. Our waitress was the best part of the evening, she was very professional, funny and just about the perfect amount of time at our table. Mr Caduff walked past our table every 15-20 minutes or so, asking in passing if everything was ok, which was a bit of a nuisance and came across as quite fake, more of a duty from his part rather than genuine concern about weather we are really satisfied with everything. All in all we had a good evening, but won't be back anytime soon.

I visited the restaurant a couple of days ago over lunch with a friend. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and hipp, but the food did not convince me that day. The amuse bouche was actually the best part of the meal. The salad was ordinary, the chicken I had came with a lot of skin and fat and little meat, and the ribs my friend had came with even more layers of fat. Fat is good for the taste, but not everyone likes to eat mostly fat and skin. Maybe I am just not the hearty food type...

A fantastic place to visit and experience just how good fine dinning can be in the land of the Swiss. Beat, (Mr Caduff) speaks a very colorful English as a few other languages (I am sure just as colorfully). His menus are of perfect design, but it is his privately collected wine cellar (all 100+2m of it) that is out of this world. I have lived decades in Switzerlands corporate world of contract dinners and Christmas parties, even Private dining experiences. However, now of them come close to the elegant pairing and passion Beat has for his wine and food.
PRO TIP 1, make a reservation, save room for Cheese desert, the selection is out of this world, second only to a French formageri, kept under a large glass show case temperature controlled just above the stairs to the wine cellar.
PRO TIP 2, book the wine tasting (7 different wines) come early, place you dinner order before your tasting and talk with Beat about what you like in wines. He will undoubtedly find a perfect match for your taste, food and pocket book. Stay long into the night and enjoy yourself. You have earned it and the service makes you feel well rewarded.
