The cottage is a good size and in a beautiful and quiet location. Lovely pub just up the road (The Fox Inn) is worth a visit. Good base for visiting places of interest. However, stairs are very steep and unsuitable for under 5's - perilous for carrying a baby up and down. Shower in ensuite bathroom needs replacing - leaks water and shower head kept falling off the attachment onto head when showering. Parking was not easy but able to park not far from the property. Cottage was very clean and tidy and the owner left some supplies - bread, shortbread, cake which was very kind. I would recommend this property to people who have older children or to a group of friends wanting a relaxing break.
This is a very comfortable cottage suitable for a family that was exactly as described on the website with accurate pre-arrival info. Well situated in a quiet village ideal for exploring the area by car. A good sized well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge and three good sized bedrooms . Main bathroom would really benefit from a proper shower though we could all share the small en suite . Cottage feels very private even though the sunny outside courtyard is very close to neighbours - this was not a problem as we found them to be personable . Lots of good days out within a short drive. The sun shone for us every day with spring flowers everywhere. A great short stay thank you .
