“Great stay!”
Reviewed 7 June 2018 for a stay in May 2018

An absolutely fabulous cottage for two which is extremely well equipped and the owners (next door) are very helpful but unobtrusive. The area is wonderful and there are some glorious walks in the vicinity. I would definitely stay here again.

“Lovely getaway”
Reviewed 2 January 2018 for a stay in December 2017

Really lovely cosey cottage. Had everything needed and also supplied baby cot, high chair and bath which was great. A lovely welcome pack on arrival. Unfortunately the pub in village was a bit hit and miss food wise but really loved a walk to the packhorse inn only ( 0.8 miles away) for yummy food and very friendly and cosy. The hosts were friendly and very welcoming xx

“Lovely high spec cottage in beautiful village”
Reviewed 23 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

Cottage was so cosy and in a quiet position. Great location for access to Bakewell and other towns. Enjoyable walks from the cottage, 2 pubs, village store and cafes. What more do you need from a short break! . Many thanks to Rachel and Richard, we would definitely recommend.

“Perfect peaceful get away.”
Reviewed 31 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Just arrived back from a short stay at Ruby Cottage. We wish we could have stayed longer. A perfect break to 'recharge the batteries'.
A lovely well kept cottage with everything you need. Cosy, clean and quiet.
Lots of lovely walks and places of interest nearby.
Easy parking just outside.
The 'welcome treats' went down extremely well.
We highly recommend this cottage.
Thank you so much Rachel and Richard.
