Penthouse needs some renovation, bit out of date.
There were holes in the carpet, because of the fireplace.
Diry stance with cause discouring in the carpet. It has been clean but it doesn't look nice.
A trolley for the breakfast would be nice to put you're breakfast on to go the room, instead you have to carry it. And hope you won't spill.
I went her for two days off line; the first evening I walked through the Kroondomeinen behind Palace het Loo. The second day I rented a bike at the hotel. The room in the hotel was spacious and had a little balcony. The room and the bathroom were clean and well stocked. The room was in the back, so very quiet! The breakfast buffet was ample and well organized (with reserved slots, sanitizer and gloves and walking lines). The staff was nice. The pool was great to go for a short swim and had a lovely view.
The reception was nice when we arrived, check in was pretty easy. When we got into our room, we were impressed how big it was. Then we noticed there were a lot of stains on the carpet, like MANY. And the bed was kinda a folding bed, there was a balcony, old and rusty, but no minibar. The room was very outdated and we didn't feel comfortable. So we asked the reception if they could move us, and they did! They were really understanding and told us that the rooms will be renovated next year. The second room was much better! Still outdated furniture but nicer, we didn't feel like staying in a motel.
I booked the hotel because of the spa, the swimming pool area was nice, some more showers would be great. The pool was a little bit cold though. The gym looked good too, small but everything you needed. The sauna was nice, the steam sauna didn't work that well. The whole spa area was kind of weird, a strange floor plan. Everything was really tiny, small place to shower, small restrooms, no lockers.. Not an impressive spa experience.
The breakfast was nice, but I expected more from a 4-star-hotel. A little bit more vegetarain/vegan options maybe ;)
Overall I am not sure if we would come back for another stay.
Outdated rooms with terrible soundproofing, the bed itself is good, but you will not get some rest with all the noise. Not what we expected for the price, and a 4 star rating. You want to go out of the hotel instead of staying a bit longer inside, that feeling says enough.
I happened to stay on work issues for two nights and enjoyed it tremendously. Rooms are large pool is wonderful and breakfast nice. There is also a dinner restaurant on site. Staff was very courteous and helpful
