The rooms are very tired and in need of upgrading, allthpugh clean and beds are comfortable. The staff though make this place they are super friendly and helpfull. The hotel is in a great spot not too far from town in a leafy area close to the palace. If like stepping back in time and don't need a fancy room this is a great place to stay. Breakfast far better than in most places in Europe.
I stayed for two nights for business. The hotel itself was superb, but the service and food were even better !! I ate dinner both nights and could not fault the food in any way. The buffet breakfast was as good as any I have eaten. The staff, from the receptionists to the bar and waitresses were polite and very professional. A 10/10 rating from me.....
I will definitely use this hotel again. The price was also very reasonable.
Stayed here on a business trip. It has everything you need. Decent bed and decent bathroom, but nothing too fancy. It just served its function.
Also had dinner and breakfast here, which were fine. I liked the breakfast a bit better than dinner, they had a buffet, from which you could take multiple times. Everything was just fine. Personnel was kind as well.
Single room is very very small, no view, no airco, no chair or table, tv high on useless big closet but you have to sit on the bed to watch it, lamp on wobly bedside table was too big for the table so it fell down several times. Noisy. It was fairly clean though. Prices food are high related to what you get. Staff is okay but not excellent. Plus is free parking.
We stayed here with coupons. Due to the hot weather we asked for a room with airco and we paid extra for this (off course). Unfortunately the airco stopped every hour at night so we did not get any sleep. After we informed the staff they mentioned that due to the very warm weather all airco's on the second floor broke down. They never had any experience like this. They refunded our payment for the additional charge. Room was basic, but ok. Personnel very friendly. The hotel is located close to the city center. Small tv. You have to take a shower in the bath tub. Hotel has bikes for rent. Breakfast was good.
